As part of my mentorship, my mentor wanted me to go through his medical bags a familiarize myself with the equipment. I took a picture of some of the items that I examined (shown in the picture above), most of which can be found in most EMT First Responder medical bags. The items in the picture are a stethoscope, a blood pressure cuff, a splint, an emergency blanket, a Pocket Mask (which is used to perform CPR without the need for direct contact with the patient), scissors, tape, gauze, sterilized water and several individual gauze pads.
